Question Time: How to Apply to Be in the Audience?

What is Question Time?

Question Time is a popular British television programme that features a panel of politicians and other public figures who are questioned by a studio audience. The programme has been broadcast on BBC One since 1979 and is known for its lively and often heated debates. The current host of Question Time is Fiona Bruce.

How to Apply to Be in the Audience

If you would like to be in the audience for a recording of Question Time, you can apply online at the BBC website. Applications are typically open for a few weeks before each recording and you will need to provide your name, contact details, and a brief statement of why you would like to be in the audience. You will also be asked to indicate which side of the audience you would prefer to sit on (the left or the right). Applications are selected on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are successful in your application, you will be sent a confirmation email with details of the recording date and time. You will also be asked to confirm your attendance by a certain date.

What to Expect When You Attend a Recording

When you attend a recording of Question Time, you will be asked to arrive at the studio at least an hour before the start of the programme. You will be given a seat in the audience and will be provided with a briefing on the programme's format. You will also be given the opportunity to ask the panel a question during the recording.

Question Time is a great way to get involved in political debate and to hear from some of the UK's leading politicians and public figures. If you are interested in applying to be in the audience, I encourage you to do so!
